WAT CHALONG TEMPLE

Wat Chalong Fair is one of Phuket’s largest annual temple festivals, held for about 10 days near the Chinese New Year. The event with colourful markets, and small amusement rides, also religious traditions with lively celebrations, including stage shows, firecrackers.

Visitors pay respect inside the temple, then walk outside to enjoy food stalls, flower shops, carnival games and even some fried insect snacks. The fair attracts families and locals with its fun evening atmosphere, music, and Thai cultural performances. Locals and tourist can pay respect at the temple, then enjoy food stalls.

Wat Chalong invites Buddhists and tourists to participate in the annual festival of Wat Chaiyathararam (Wat Chalong) from February 16th to 22nd, 2026, at Wat Chaiyathararam (Wat Chalong).

Pay respects and seek blessings from Luang Pho Chaem at this grand religious festival that blends faith, culture, and entertainment.

This year promises to be spectacular... A 7-night concert featuring Luk Thung (Thai country music) and famous artists, including:

• Sunday, February 15th, 2026 at 7:30 PM. Buddhist consecration ceremony of sacred objects.

• Monday February 16, 2026: Fon Thanasunthorn / Skypass (performing in place of Bodyslam)

• Tuesday February 17, 2026: Lamyai Haithongkam / L.K.H.

• Wednesday February 18, 2026: Kantong Thungngern / Suea Thanapol / Pee Saderd (alternating days)

• Thursday February 19, 2026: Takatan Chonlada / Tree Chainarong

• Friday February 20, 2026: Meenatra Intira / Phatthalung Band

• Saturday February 21, 2026: Prae Chanaporn / Wongklom / Tonkhao Duang Pleng Ching Thun

• Sunday February 22, 2026: Tai Orathai / Mike Phiromporn (alternating days with Pee Saderd)

In addition, there are also... Enjoy free entertainment every night throughout the event, including a Super Dance youth band, outdoor movie screenings, shadow puppet shows, and Manora dance.
